Ravenswood, Jansen Park and Everleigh are small but well established areas. There are some old houses in the area but many have been renovated and some have a more modern feel to them. This area also has plenty of townhouse and cluster complexes. All three suburbs are close to the East Rand Mall and K90 Centre.
Laerskool Concordia and Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen are the schools close by, as well as Damelin College. All suburbs have daycare centres. There are parks where young and old may enjoy the fresh outdoors.

The airport is easy to access along the R21. Main roads are Rondebuolt, North Rand and Rietfontein. Public transport is available.

The N12 is the East-West national route that is connecting Boksburg with the northern parts of Springs in the east and with Johannesburg in the west. The N17 is another East-West national route connecting Boksburg with Springs in the east and with the southern parts of Johannesburg in the west. The R21 is a North-South Freeway, with its terminal in Vosloorus in the south and connects with the OR Tambo International, Kempton Park and Pretoria in the north. The R29 is an East-West regional route that is connecting /boksburg with Benoni in the East and with Germiston in the west. The R554 Connecting Boksburg with Springs and Brakpan in the east and with Alberton in the west.
