Welcome to the last edition of the Tivvit newsletter for 2013! We at Tivvit.com, would like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2014.

According to Jac Laubscher, Sanlam Group economist, when evaluating the country’s economic growth measured against average standards of living as reflected in real GDP per capita, it appears to have done quite well since the transition to a democratic dispensation. Berry Everitt, MD of the Chas Everitt International property group, believes that in 2014 the South African property market should rise and continue to strengthen and build on the gains of the past two years, with stock shortages growing and homes selling much more quickly in response to rapidly increasing demand.
